Jena was born and raised in Somers Point, New Jersey, and she is excited to now serve the community she grew up in as a physician assistant! She obtained her undergraduate degree in Human Biology at NC State University. Jena continued her education at South University in Savannah, GA where she earned her Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. While in Savannah, she was trained specifically in dermatology and Mohs surgery, which solidified her passion for this specialty.
Jena is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and she is an active member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Jena was trained directly by Dr. Kelly Kane, and she is currently an SDPA Diplomate Fellowship Candidate.
As a physician assistant, Jena's goal is to offer top-notch care to patients of all ages. Through a team-based approach and under the guidance of Dr. Kane, Jena is committed to providing effective, patient-centered care in both medical and cosmetic dermatology.
In her free time, Jena loves hanging out with her two dogs, Hank and Holly. Additionally, she enjoys traveling, going to the beach, spending time with friends and family, and eating at all the best local restaurants!
