The only double-board-certified dermatologist in Atlantic and Cape May Counties, Dr. Kelly Rose Kane prides herself on providing exceptional, personalized care in her local community.
After completing her residency in Dermatology at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, Dr. Kane was selected to stay for an additional year and complete the clinic's prestigious Dermatopathology fellowship. She is a recognized and highly respected expert in skin care.
Dr. Kane is also committed to volunteerism locally, through free skin cancer screenings and clinics, as well as internationally. She believes strongly in educating her patients and working together to enhance their skin health and beauty. Dr. Kane strives to provide evidence-based medical solutions for her patients.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and by the American Board of Dermatopathology. Also, Dr. Kane is an experienced clinical researcher, authoring multiple peer-reviewed papers. Most recently, she wrote the "Miliaria" chapter for the Treatment of Skin Diseases Dermatology textbook.
Her multiple academic honors and research awards include being named the 2009 Irish Association of Dermatologists (IAD) fellow and the Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellow.
Dr. Kane lives with her husband, Patrick and three children, Grace, Tierney and Liam, in Ocean City, NJ. In her free time, she loves being an active member of her community. You can often find her at the community center taking part in various activities with her children or pursuing one of her workout passions. Dr. Kane is an avid athlete, having qualified for the national age group championships in the triathlon.
